Compo Havanese is located in beautiful Westport, Connecticut, about a one-hour train or car ride from New York City. Westport is also easily accessible to Greenwich, Westchester, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts.
At Compo Havanese, we are very selective when it comes to who will potentially own a Compo Havanese puppy. We want to meet you and we want you to meet our Havanese to make sure that there will be a good fit.
We will not ship a puppy under any circumstances so please do not ask. All Compo Havanese puppies are sold as companion pets with AKC limited registration under a spay/neuter contract.
The breed, Havanese, is the only AKC-recognized breed that originated from Cuba and there is no such AKC breed known as a Havana Silk Dog (HSD). Those who are trying to "create" the HSD are breeding from the exact same dogs that the original and only Havanese Breed originated from. Don't be fooled!
